The force awakens movie review

I just watched the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens. I am honestly disappointed. All of you hardcore diehard fans can hate all you want, but you’re lying to yourself if you deny the fact that you have already seen this film. This movie was merely a culmination of all the great scenes of the series. We have a dad and son battle with the dad dying on an epic bridge. We have the droid they aren’t looking for. The child left on a dump that turned out to be the next generation of good guys. We have the bar scene with monsters playing in a band. The same exact Death Star battle with the same type of resulting end. Lastly, I am a big fan of astronomy and theoretical science. If a planet sucks all of the energy from the sun creating a solar system with no central source of heat energy, anyone on the remaining planet without some type of thermal protective space suit would instantly freeze unless they were in a ship of some kind. So, basically… everyone actually died. The writers just didn’t know it.

I give the movie a 4 out of 5 star review, mostly as a fan of the series. But honestly, I was highly let down. They gathered all the scenes of the series that made it great and just plopped them all into one movie. And, no one would have survived the sun’s death and rebirth.

Just saying.
